| This system is more than just a shop. From the data warehouse, Spruyt-hillen publishes twice a day an update of the article catalogue with actual pricing, discount arrangements and validated customer relations. |

| Besides the publishing from the data warehouse, the shop is handling real-time new registrations and orders. There is e.g. a difference between an article that can be ordered only on quotation base and articles which are in stock.
From the user perspective, all past ordering (the order history), done via any channel (phone, email etc) is exposed in the shop.
